The league runs from April 16th to June 19th (16 games) with a post-season to follow in July.  The league is for U13 and U14 boys with both a competitive bracket (American league) and a recreational bracket (National league).  For more information, contact:

2nd Grade Boys - Will be in a league by themselves using a pitching machine

 

*There will be tryouts for Cal Ripken baseball. Tryout dates will be posted in the Lynden Tribune, the Bellingham Herald, and on the LYS website at www.lyndenyouthsports.com. (We will also be posting them here once they have been finalized) There will be 2 select age groups. The age groups will be 8 & 9 & 10 year olds playing together and 11 & 12 year olds playing together. Those children that do not make the Cal Ripken team, will automatically be placed on a recreational team run by the Lynden Youth Sports program.

2nd / 3rd / 4th Grade Boys - Will be in a league together playing both pitching machine & regular (kid pitch) baseball

5th / 6th Grade Boys - Will be in a league together playing regular baseball

 

7th / 8th Grade Boys - This age group application will remain open until approximately March 31st until school teams are formed. This age group will play in the Bellingham Pony League. There will be away games (as far away as Island County) and Sunday games may be scheduled.
